"STAY AWAY FROM STARLINE VAN LINES, SABILLON BROTHERS, AND GOOD MOVE USA!!! I received a quote to move from Texas to Michigan from Starline Van Lines for $4500. I specifically asked where the hidden fees would be. I was reassured that if my inventory doesn’t change my quote won’t change. I paid the 50% deposit. A few days later I was checking the inventory list and saw a “cubic feet” fee. I knew 750 cubic feet was not enough. I tried for 2 weeks to get this corrected, but kept being told someone would call me. Four days before my move someone finally called. I explained the situation about the cubic feet, so I was on the phone for 2 hours measuring all my furniture and boxes. My quote now went from $4500 to $7500. I had 4 days to move so we agreed and paid more on the deposit. The movers were supposed to be there on a Sunday, but Friday night at 8pm we were told they would be there Saturday morning at 8am. A 12 hour notice. The movers, Sabillon, showed up and said the quote was completely wrong and we now have to pay $11,000. We had NO options. The moving company (Sabillon Brothers/Good Move USA) did give us a discount so we paid $9,000. We did store our stuff for 4 months and that went from $400/month to $850/month. We called and texted on 7/14 to get our stuff delivered and we were told we didn’t pay our storage fees. I have proof but it took them 30 minutes to figure that out. We were then told our stuff would be delivered on 7/21. On 7/21 we were told there was an issue with the truck and there was no delivery date. On 7/30 we were told the truck was heading our way. On 8/3 we were told our stuff would be here between the 12th to the 15th. On the 15th I asked what time they would be here and found out they would be here on the 16th. The truck pulled up and had us pay the remaining move balance before they would even unload our stuff. When everything was unloaded my husband asked where the rest of our stuff was and was told on another truck because it didn’t all fit. So, we paid in full now but still didn’t have all our stuff. The other truck was supposed to be there within 4 days. Two weeks later the second truck arrived but we are still missing a 55” TV, a roomba, and a miter saw. I asked the moving company how to file a claim for the items with no response. I followed the contract to file a claim through CSI. CSI denied our claim because the moving company, Sabillon, is no longer registered with them. In the end we are still missing our items and no one is willing to help. To find out Starline Van Lines is just a broker who sold our contract to a moving company called Sabillon Brothers, but we made our payments to Good Move USA. This has been a horrible experience!!!!
